Some changes to the core World of Pokemon game!

Hello one and all! It's been a rough last few weeks and I apologize; it's been rather difficult to keep things going with how RL has been, and me getting back into the RP scene in My Little Jamjar. However, that's all about to change; a few new changes and some potential ones you all will vote for are going to be talked about in this post!

First and foremost, Pokemon Levels are no longer required to be kept up with! This is a relaxed game, and as much as I thought doing a similar thing to Route 29's game and keeping up with levels and five a week might be fun... it wasn't. And I know many of you are tired of doing that, so! Levels are no longer required to be kept up with. If you still wish to do so that is fine, and for evolutions and movesets I leave to your best judgment. Learning new moves and evolving during battle are okay to do! When it comes to Gym leader battles, you will only be able to use the same number of Pokemon as the Gym leader, and the victory is decided by which has the type advantage, and/or has more skill and efficiency with their Pokemon. You will no longer ask me if your characters can earn a badge - you must make that distinction yourself and your comment to the Gym Badges page is merely for bookkeeping and to let me know they have a badge.

Secondly, all route travel-times are shortened to one IC day per route, forest, and cave floor! This eliminates the need for a Travel Times page, shortens the amount of time needed to get from place to place, and eases confusion among the playerbase altogether. The Travel Times page is now defunct and should not be consulted.

Finally there's a few things that I'd like to hash out with you all. A question: How would you all feel about a 2:1 OOC:IC day rate? Since the game is supposed to be relaxed and any plot and related things have just been going way, way too fast for everyone to keep up with when the very pace is against that. There will be an event calendar as well as a normal calendar to lessen confusion about what day it is at any given time. Comment and let me know what you think!

Also, there is a chance I will be making it much easier to do the claims, whether it means getting rid of the (admittedly complicated) coding of the current one and getting a more basic one, or making it required to fill out said code to claim (which may also be simplified into an easier-to-manage code).

As a side note, I will be posting about the upcoming events soon. Please look forward to them. (Both will be backdated to the end of last week as promised.)

ALSO regarding Activity Check, it has been extended until Friday, the 12th. Please get your AC in if you haven't already!

EDIT: Those of you who have heard of the Nightmare Boss plot, it has been post-poned until further notice, and the Graveyard Dimension itself has been sealed off until further notice. (It'll open back up eventually.)

The Parfum Palace Dance Night/Route 7 Bridge event has been postponed until Friday. A post will be going up tonight or tomorrow with info on that, as well as an IC post that characters can reply to. A Pre-Planning CR Meme will go up for this as well to accommodate.

Thank you for your patience as I work to get things fixed. The co-mods I asked to help me a while back unfortunately have had no access to any of the stuff here to take care of it, and that is entirely my fault. I will be straightening things out/making new posts with the proper accounts so that they can access it and help out.
