A World Of Pokemon OOC community!

Hello! This is your first activity check! I don't have a template for it like most games do yet, shhhhh The requirement for Activity Check is to present one piece of activity for each character you play here. This can be a tag, a post, a thread, anything at all! If you're on hiatus currently, you are exempt from Activity Check this time. Additionally, if you are neither on hiatus nor have anything to show for AC, if you still want to stay in the game you will need to contact me or leave a comment here with a brief (vague if you prefer) explanation and interest to remain in the game, and you will be safe this month.

This activity check will conclude at the end of the two events happening this weekend, so Tuesday, December 9th!

Oh, and the newest claims from up to a week ago are also exempt from AC.

This is a short OOC post letting you all know that a dimensional portal has opened in Route 5, and three new areas are free to be explored. There are, of course, Pokemon to catch in the first two areas, but the final area is devoid of them.

Here's the catch list for the areas:

Graveyard: Entrance - Gastly, Duskull, Litwick, Pumpkaboo, Poochyena, Scraggy

All Pokemon can be found at level 15-16.


Graveyard: Pathways - Misdreavous, Sableye, Shuppet, Houndour, Absol, Purrloin

All Pokemon can be found at level 15-17.

Graveyard: Large Tombstone

An NPC battle will take place here, with another event taking place here in the future. No Pokemon are able to be battled here, but while near this tombstone you will hear disembodied voices and a very freaky cackle...

There will be an NPC battle here between now and when the Route 6-7 event happens. There will be a reward for those who win. After the NPC disappears, he will only be able to be battled through the Battle Simulator in Lumiose City.

Hello all. First of all let me apologize for my lack of modly presence or tag presence in the game. RL has been a bitch lately and it's starting to drive me nuts. Thankfully the sinus infection scare from this morning has gone away and I'm feeling much better. Since I can't post the first event backdated tonight, I'll at least talk about it. And then talk about the upcoming events.

First, the event that's supposed to ICly take place last Friday... is a battle against a particular NPC with four Steel Pokemon, in Lumiose City. The level range for his team is 16-18 and the opportunity to battle him will be available until this Friday, after which the only way to do so will be through the Battle Simulator. There is a prize if your character wins, and there will still be a prize in the Battle Simulator... they just won't get to witness the event if they weren't there.

Also, as Lumiose City's Route 5 exit was blocked off before, this past Sunday the roadblock was removed and can be traversed again. The next roadblock is between Route 6 and 7, a familiar bridge any of you who have played X & Y will remember. Yep, damn Snorlax is there again. There'll be an event soon to take care of that.

Secondly, the small compensation event that's happening this Friday is to commemorate the ORAS release. On that day, your character may find a small Pokemon egg, which can be either a Torchic, Mudkip or Treecko. Additionally, they may be shiny if you want them to be. They do not have to be shiny, but if you'd like a shiny version rather than a normal one, then it is possible for this event.

And finally, another event that's coming sometime this weekend involves a small addition to the story, as well as a new place to explore and catch Pokemon. Additionally, a special Pokemon trainer (of... sorts...) will be able to be battled. After a while that battle will disappear and only be accessible through the Battle Simulator. This one will have a prize either at the time of the event or at the Simulator.

Right now anon is not enabled due to the game being a private game (and thus the people anoning might not even be in the game) but please don't be afraid to suggest anything at all! The most important aspect of the game are the players, and I want World of Pokemon to remain a fun place to RP for all of you.
